Do you supply all the fishing gear, and food for the outing?
Yes, all fishing gear, bait and tackle is included. There is also tea and coffee on arrival, bacon and egg rolls in the morning for breakfast, meat & salad rolls for lunch, snacks and soft drinks provided for you. Please feel free to bring extra food along if you wish.
If we dont see whales on a tour can we get a refund?
We offer a guarantee of sightings, if we dont successfully see whales you are welcome to a free trip on another date within the same whale season. This is not transferable to another person(s) and no monies can be refunded if you are unable to use the offer of a FREE trip.
Is there free parking at Hillarys?
Yes there is ample free parking at Hillarys and the signage indicates all day parking in front of the Hillarys Resort Apartments in the main parking area
What sort of fish do you target?
Mills Charters target Dhufish, Pink Snapper, Baldchin Groper, Queen Snapper, Mulloway, Silver Trevally ( Skippy), Breaksea Cod (black arse), Red Snapper, Samson Fish, Mahi Mahi (dolphin fish) and many other bottom feeding and pelagic species.
What time do we have to be there?
Please check in to the office (located between AQWA and Hillarys Resort Apartments in the DPI builidng) at 6:00am, for a 6:30am departure. The boat returns to Hillarys Boat Harbour at 3:00pm
